Tri City Subaru continues to recieve the best ratings thanks to the service team

We all know that we will talk about the bad experiences we have and share them with everyone we know! We all have heard the “horror stories” about a restaurant or Car Dealership. Tri City Subaru is on a mission to change this.
Tri City Subaru has been receiving praise from its own clients for years. We have been in business since 1977 and every since then we have always had a loyal following. Our family owned dealership continued the tradition of excellent customer service from our sister store Tri City Dodge that started back in 1965.
The odd part of this story is our clients and loyal customers only shared their praise with people they meet in person, family and friends.   We have always had friends sending in friends and family members. The BIG change happened a few months ago when our loyal clients stumbled upon www.dealerrater.com . They started writing reviews. In a matter of days we started getting calls and the reviews have increased.  We have received over 20 reviews in the past three days! It’s like our customers have found an outlet to express their appreciation for our exceptional customer service.
We owe most of the thanks and praise to our Service staff. Joey, Clyde and Susan have worked hard to earn our customers trust. We cannot believe the kind words expressed about all of them. Our service team delivers such a great attitude, willingness to help and genuine apathy. We are truly lucky to have such a great team. I am sure as you read this you may feel the same way.  Our Service team truly does care and always takes the time to go over all of your options.  They even know most customers by name. This is a great place to come in and visit and at the same time get an oil change.

Check out us out online at www.tricitysubaru.com , read our reviews at www.dealerrater.com  or stop by our Somersworth Location: Tri City Subaru 195 route 108 Somersworth, NH 03878.
It all goes back to what we started with our logo “everything we do is driven by you” . That sums up the Tri City Subaru experience.

2011 Subaru Outback will offer wifi as an option

I pulled this press release off of Subaru of America's homepage.  I am glad to hear Subaru is head of the curve on this one. All of us here at Tri City Subaru in Somersworth ,NH can not wait to try this out.

Subaru of America announced today that it is now offering Wi-Fi connectivity for the award-winning 2011 Outback crossover SUV model. The new Subaru Mobile Internet system creates a Wi-Fi hotspot inside the Outback giving internet access to 10 or more users for up to 150 feet around the vehicle.

The Subaru Outback redefined the SUV, and offering Wi-Fi connectivity further expands this versatile vehicle's capability. Operating on the 3G network and working with all Wi-Fi enabled devices, Subaru Mobile Internet provides users a safe, fully encrypted connection with download speeds averaging 400kbps-1.2mbps. This uninterrupted Wi-Fi capability is designed for passenger access while the Outback is in motion.
Subaru Mobile Internet easily allows users to check email, surf the web or listen to Internet radio and even stream video and post to social networking sites. Outback passengers can check weather and traffic, download hiking trails, and even reserve a campsite while they're on the road. Multiple passengers can simultaneously use the Wi-Fi connection for their separate devices, including Wi-Fi capable laptop computers, netbooks, smart phones, game controllers, plus the new iPad® and iPod® Touch models.
Subaru Mobile Internet technology is provided by Autonet Mobile, the world's first in-car Internet service provider. The Wi-Fi service can be added as a port or dealer-installed accessory to any 2011 Subaru Outback for an MSRP of $499, plus a $35 activation fee. A one-year subscription at $29 per month is required, and Subaru is including the first three months of service for free. Comprehensive user support is included through joint Subaru and Autonet Mobile customer service resources.   Subaru Mobile Internet is a Genuine Subaru Accessory and is covered under the Subaru of America warranty.
Starting at an MSRP of $22,995, the 2011 Subaru Outback is offered in a wide range of four- and six-cylinder models. The Outback is smart-sized compared to other two-row crossover vehicles, featuring a mid-size interior in an easy-to-maneuver and off-road capable wagon body. Equipped with the Lineartronic™ CVT (continuously variable transmission), the 2011 Outback is rated at 29 MPG in highway driving.

Mount Washington and Travis Pastrana

Wow! I cannot believe we missed this event. Please check out the Video of the Subaru Impreza  WRX launching into the record books again right here in New Hampshire! Please check out the 2011 WRX that visited Tri City Subaru a few weeks back.

Wow The WRX comes to our Dealership !

New 2011 WRX 4dr. model first view

All I can say is WOW! For all the Subaru enthusiasts who thought that the 2008 WRX went soft........hold your hat for the new 2011 model. Our District Sales Manager came by last week with the new 2011 Impreza WRX Limited 4 door.

Let me get started by saying this car had all the bells and whistles including a full leather interior with red accent stitching, factory Navigation with Bluetooth, power moonroof, heated seats, etc. But for a true WRX enthusiast this didn't make one bit of difference to me. What stood out to me was the front and rear fender flares and aggressive look the car had. The boxy, aggressive looking rally car was back. The front end looked like it wanted to eat the car infront of it. The more subtle hood scoop now doesn't look so subtle when you add the wider stance and aggressive front bumper with factory brake ducting. This front end just glares at you, asking to be put through the paces....just begging to be put on the track. But where it really got good for me is when you came around to the rear. The new rear fender flares added GIGANTIC character to this vehicle. The rear bumper with a built-in rear diffuser and a quad tipped exhaust that from the factory roars announcing; "the king of the juggle is back!!!".

This new 2011 WRX in both 4 door and 5 door body styles is sure to bring die hard Subaru enthusiasts crawling into the showrooms begging for a re-energization of World Rally Blue blood. So for all the people that thought Subaru had gone soft with the "Corolla looking" WRX, take a close look at what's new for 2011 because the WRX is back in full force!

Subaru Certified Pre-Owned

Tri City Subaru IS the LARGEST CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED SUBARU DEALER IN THE COUNTRY!!!

Don't fall for any imitations......Tri City Subaru is it!!!

What does that mean to me, the customer?  It means that you are buying the nicest pre-owned Subaru that has gone through Subaru's rigorous 152 point certification inspection.  Did you know that Subaru requires dealers to replace brakes if they are worn more than 50%?  Did you know that require dealers to replace tires if they are below 5/32 tread depth?  Did you know that Subaru requires dealers to perform the next, or upcoming, major service if it is within 2,000 miles?  All these things are items that Tri City Subaru is passionate about.  If you're shopping around, ask the other dealers to see the 152 point inspection check list and if you're only shopping us.....well you'll find it right in the vehicles glovebox where Subaru requires it.

What is Subaru Certified Pre-Owned?  Subaru Certified Pre-Owned is a dedicated program that strives for customer satisfaction and "peace of mind" when purchasing a pre-owned vehicle.  What a customer receives when purchasing a Certified Pre-Owned Subaru (CPO) is a 6 year or 100,000 mile powertrain coverage that includes items like engine components (cylinder heads, engine block, intake manifold, flywheel, valve covers, etc), Subaru's symmetrical All Wheel Drive (differentials, axle shafts, CV joints and boots, universal joints, wheel bearings and spindle, etc), all transmission parts including transfer case, torque converter, mounts and gaskets.  These are just some of the items covered under the standard CPO coverage which is NO CHARGE to the customer!

What else do I get when purchasing a Subaru Certified Pre-Owned?  All Subaru CPO cars come with a free CARFAX vehicle history report, Subaru specific 152 point inspection, 24 hour roadside assistance, emergency lockout, towing and rental benefits and a $0 deductible.  Unlike many other warranties that dealers offer, this coverage is backed by the manufacturer.  Many dealer warranties are just that; dealer backed warranties.  Some are 3rd party warranties that dealerships buy and therefore are not influenced by the dealer or the manufacturer (or a party that may have an invested interest in the customer).

Does it cover other items like power windows, cruise control or air conditioning?  The standard Subaru Certified Pre-Owned coverage does not cover any of the above items; however the customer has the option to upgrade the standard coverage to Subaru's Gold Plus coverage for a very minimal amount ($995 compared to a non-CPO vehicle that would cost$1,742.....that's over a 40% savings!).  Subaru's Gold Plus coverage is a very extensive coverage that is similar to Subaru's factory "bumper to bumper" coverage.  The Gold Plus extension covers items like factory navigation, factory satellite radio, power windows, locks and mirrors, oxygen sensors, brake cylinders, radiators, fuel lines and fuel pumps, steering rack and steering pumps, front suspension components (control arms, ball joints, stabilizer bar and bushings, etc.) and more.  These are just some of the items that are covered with the upgraded Gold Plus plan.  As stated above, the Subaru Gold Plus coverage is very similar to the standard new car 3 year or 36,000 mile "bumper to bumper" coverage.  Please feel free to call our Business Manager, Andy Cyr with any questions.

Why should I buy my Subaru from Tri City Subaru?  There are many great places to purchase a new or pre-owned Subaru.  At Tri City Subaru your buying experience will be much different than most places though.  Most dealers say they believe in a "low" or "no pressure" sales atmosphere, but do not actually PRACTICE this type of behavior.  Tri City Subaru has been in business for over 30 years and we've been able to endure the ups and downs because we really do treat our customers with the utmost respect (if you see someone driving a Tri City Subaru vehicle, just ask them about their experience).  We're not here to sell you just one car, we're here to make you part of our family and earn your business for years to come.  What about service?  What about service??we have one of the top service departments in New England according to Subaru.  With our Subaru Certified staff, 3 free loaner vehicles, a free oil change and inspection program what's not to love?!  Come check us out, we're sure you won't be disappointed.
